Cultivating a heart for global health and the communities we serve.HealthEx is inspiring the next generation of healthcare leaders, cultivating a heart for global health. Through training, mission trips and building a wider community of healthcare professionals, we're working to secure the future of global health. We also partner with local NGOs to maintain a close relationship with beneficiaries, providing medical aid and public health education for their local community.
Together we can ensure access to quality healthcare for everyone, everywhere. |
HealthEx was founded in 2009 by a Singaporean Mark Tan when studying medicine in the UK. Unlike medical students studying in Singapore, there was no platform for overseas students coming home to Singapore during the summer to participate in healthcare mission trips. Mark founded HealthEx to bring these opportunities to Singaporean healthcare students studying overseas.
We have previously worked in Nepal (Project Bharatpur - Bharatpur Teaching Hospital), Thailand (Project Khon Kaen - World Harvest Foundation), Cambodia (Project Sre Robong, Project TaOm - Build Your Future Today), Singapore COVID project (The Nasi Bungkus Initiative - Chef-In-Box by JR Foods).
